I’m filing this under site updates because that’s what prompted me to open the site today, and also under Journal because I am going to get a little personal.
First of all, I joined some Fanlistings. I’ve been working on Lala Land a lot lately, it’s almost ready, and one of the things I’ve done is started joining some Fanlistings there, but some felt more personal so I decided to join those over here. I am now the proud owner of these cute lil buttons:
The highlight of this post is really that I’m working on Lala Land again. And I have many other projects in mind as well, including finishing this site.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to really sit down and focus. After the tragedy a few years ago I was finding it difficult to do anything, including articulate my thoughts into written word. It was very difficult to do even the simplest of tasks, like responding to a client’s email with personality. I was able to reply but it was so cold and blunt, just the pure facts. To be honest, it was the best I could do.
As they say, “Time Heals All,.” And although I will never fully be healed from my loss, I feel like I’m beginning to regain a sense of who I am and who I’m meant to be. So if you’re here reading this, it’s been a journey to get here but I’m finally looking forward to the journey ahead.
